Clinical Associate Professor Associate Pediatric Clerkship Director - Inpatient Core
Dr. Allhusen completed her undergraduate degree at Santa Clara University. She spent a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA designing and leading a community health outreach program in an underserved community prior to attending University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Seattle Children’s/University of Washington SOM.
Dr. Allhusen currently practices at Seattle Children’s main campus in the Division of Cardiac Critical Care as a hospitalist. She is interested in hospital medicine, medical education, quality improvement, and wellness in health care professionals. She enjoys working with learners as well as interprofessional teams to deliver excellent patient care, promote a collaborative and safe team and patient environment, and enhance learning and outcomes. Dr. Allhusen is the Associate Clerkship Director for the Pediatric Clerkship Inpatient Core at UWSOM and is involved in medical student curriculum development and teaching in multiple capacities.
